PHILOSOPHY

At the base of the yoga practice are five basic principles: proper exercise, breathing, relaxation, diet, and meditation. The body is the physical manifestation of a being; it is the shell that expresses and represents one's self.

ASANAS

An Asana is a body posture, originally and still a general term for a sitting meditation pose, and later extended in Hatha yoga and modern yoga as exercise, to any type of pose or position, adding reclining, standing, inverted, twisting, and balancing poses.

CHAKRAS

The Chakras vitalise the physical body and to be associated with interactions of a physical, emotional and mental nature. The function of the chakras is to spin and draw in this energy to keep the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health of the body in balance.
